Work beginning on Columbia sidewalks

Crews are working on several sidewalks and streets in Columbia Monday morning.

Pro Foundations, a contractor for the City of Columbia, began slab jacking concrete panels for both sidewalks and streets at 8 a.m.

They are working on the following roads:

Sidewalk at 555 Locust Street
Sidewalk near Elm and Watson
Rolling Hills Road (bridge approaches)
Tidewater near Buxton
Brown School Road near Interstate Road
Southampton (west of Kirkdale)
Old Hawthorne Drive (north of Bower Lane)
Rutherford Drive
Manhesset Drive

The work is expected to finish up Friday evening.
