Wrong-way driver causes several accidents
No one was hurt after a wrong-way driver caused several accidents south of Columbia Saturday.
Around 1:00 p.m., a pickup driver traveled south in the northbound lanes of Highway 63 near Route H, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Several drivers swerved to avoid the truck and went into the median.
Shortly after, some bystanders stopped the driver near New Salem Lane.
An elderly man was driving was driving the truck, authorities said. The driver was not arrested.
