FBI raids home in Fulton, one arrested for pot

Fulton Police confirmed the FBI carried out a search warrant for a home in the 100 block of Oak Avenue Thursday. ABC 17 News confirmed Friday Sanchez Walker was arrested during the raid Thursday at 109 Oak Avenue, accused of having more than 14 grams of marijuana.

Fulton Police Chief Steve Myers told ABC 17 News Fulton Police provided a perimeter for the area. The MUSTANG Drug Task Force and Fulton Police helped the FBI with the investigation.

Court records show officers found a scale, a stack of money and individually-wrapped baggies of marijuana. Walker apparently claimed the drugs were for his personal use.

A neighbor told ABC 17 News police spent Thursday morning serving the warrant near the Callaway County Sheriff’s Department and Fulton State Hospital. Neighbors said people in the house opened the door for them andcooperated with police.

FBI spokeswoman Bridget Patton told ABC 17 News the search was part of an ongoing investigation.
