Rain Chance Thursday-Friday

Forecast models are indicating highest rainfall amounts, up to 2″ will be west of HWY 65 by Friday afternoon. Most of Mid-Missouri counties will see rain starting up after 8PM Thursday night through daybreak Friday morning. There will be a chance for spotty storms south of HWY 50 in the afternoon Friday. No severe weather is expected with these storms. The associated cold front looks to move into Mid-Missouri in the early morning hours on Friday between 1 and 4AM. This will bring a shot of cool air and unseasonable temperatures to the area by Friday night. Temperatures will be chilly both Saturday and Sunday mornings with temperatures in the mid 40s.
