Murder trial delayed for man accused of killing child
A murder trial has been delayed for the man accused of killing a 6-year-old boy.
Scottie Willet’s trial was scheduled to start Wednesday. Willet is also requesting a change of venue.
Willet is charged with first degree murder, armed criminal action, receiving stolen property and tampering with a motor vehicle in connection to the 2014 killing of Dane Hathman.
Willet is scheduled to appear in court in Fulton on November 2.
