Columbia man accused of abusing 6 year-old boy
ABC 17 News learned a Columbia man is back on the streets, after he is accused of attacking and hitting a 6-year old.
Police say James Bennett pushed the child to the ground, got on top of him, and then hit him several times.
Officers say he had bruises and cuts on his neck, shoulders and forehead. The whole thing was also caught on a cell phone.
Bennett was arrested Monday, but he has not been charged as of Tuesday evening.
