Eugene man suffers head injury after being thrown from a truck
State Highway Patrol said Chad Kemper, 24, was riding on top of a covered pickup truck early Saturday morning before falling off and hitting his head on the ground.
Authorities said the driver of the truck drove up a steep hill on S. Oak Street in Eldon when Kemper fell off around 2:45 a.m.
Emergency crews took Kemper to the hospital in serious condition.
