Two people injured in Jefferson City crash

Two people were hurt Wednesday in a Jefferson City crash.

Multiple police cars and an ambulance responded after 5 p.m. near the Capital Mall.

Police say a car driven by Pascal Beuchter of Jefferson City was crossing the intersection of West Truman Boulevard to Amazonas Drive from a driveway.

The car crossed in front of another car driven by Haley Mathews of Mexico, Missouri. Mathews was reportedly trying to make a left turn onto West Truman Boulevard.

Two passengers in Mathews’ car were taken to the hospital with injuries.
