Spotty weekend storms, warming temperatures
A weak cold front will move slowly through Mid-Missouri Saturday. A few showers and storms out ahead of this front in the morning will push east and out of the area by mid-morning. As the front drifts to near HWY 54 in the afternoon, a few more storms could pop up through early evening. Severe storms are not expected.
Temperatures will reach near 80 Saturday afternoon in our northwestern counties and near 85 at the Lake of the Ozarks with winds from the southwest up to 10 mph.
Heading into Sunday, skies will remain partly cloudy with high temperatures reaching the mid to upper 80s. It will feel more humid as dew points reach the upper 60s Sunday. There is a slight chance of t-storms near I-44 as an upper level wave spins across southern Missouri.
