MU receives $500,000 gift for College of Engineering

The University of Missouri College of Engineering received a $500,000 gift for renovations at Lafferre Hall.

A Kansas City based engineering firm, Burns & McDonnell, donated $400,000.

Alumnus Ray Kowalik donated $100,000. Kowalik is the executive vice president for Burns & McDonnell.

The combined gifts will be put toward renovating an area dedicated for student collaborations on the north side of the building.
