Joplin man arrested for assault in Columbia

A Joplin man was arrested in Columbia Sunday night after officers were called to the 1300 block of Rosemary Street.

21-year-old Tucker Sharp went over to a neighbor’s house and was asked to leave.

Sharp left, but returned shortly after and began arguing with his neighbor.

He ended up hitting his neighbor in the face and threatened to go get a gun.

Sharp was arrested for third degree assault.
