Versailles man killed in car crash
A Versailles man died in a car crash in Miller County early Sunday morning.
It happened at 5:10 a.m. on Route Y west of Ibson Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Bruce Spaulding, 57, drove off the right side of the road, over-corrected and ran off the left side of the road. Spaulding’s pick up truck became airborne and ran into a tree, according to the highway patrol.
The Miller County coroner pronounced Spaulding dead at the scene.
Spaulding was not wearing a seat belt.
