Man arrested for bar fight in Columbia appears in court

A man connected to a fight at a downtown Columbia bar had a hearing Monday.

Maxrile Barney was arrested for the incident at 10 Below in January.

Barney is charged with assault and armed criminal action. He also faces charges for a separate incident in which he allegedly attacked a corrections officer at the Fulton State Hospital.
