Deputies still looking for remains of missing woman

Mid-Missouri investigators said Wednesday they might have found the body of a missing person, but they still need more information.

Jacquelyn Auten-Metz disappeared in early April from Phelps Co.

Deputies think her remains could be on a farm in a rural area near St. James, more than an hour southeast of Jefferson City.

Nothing was found this week after hours of digging.

Her boyfriend used to be a main person of interest, but he died of an apparent suicide two weeks ago.
