Man dies in Saline County car wreck with tractor trailer

Sunday, a man has died in a car wreck in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Roland Kitchen, 80, from Slater was driving eastbound on road M 20 east of Hemlock Avenue. His vehicle crossed the center line and crashed into a tractor trailer just minutes before 3:00 p.m.

Emergency crews flew Kitchen to University Hospital in Columbia. He died shortly after.
