Man arrested for stealing from multiple Boone County homes

Columbia Police arrested a 33-year-old man after serving three search warrants to identify stolen property dating back to January.

Detectives were able to find stolen property from:

2600 block of Old Highway 63 South
20th block of Clearview Drive
2500 block of Shamrock Drive
1500 block of Secretariat Drive
200 block of Old Plank Road
1300 block of Paw Print Lane
300 block of Burnside Drive
5400 block of Murfreesboro Drive

Detectives arrested 33-year-old Prinston Warren in connection to the stolen property, and was connected to all three residences where warrants were served.

When investigators searched 211 Mohawk Avenue on Wednesday, they found 3 pounds of marijuana and cash in Warren’s bedroom.

Detectives also found 2 pounds of marijuana and cash at 21 Navaho Avenue.

Warren was arrested on Wednesday afternoon for distribution of a controlled substance, 6 counts of receiving stolen property, and 2nd degree burglary.

Warren is being held in the Boone Co. Jail on a $218,000 bond.
