Man arrested for robbing man at knife-point
A Florida man is in the Boone County jail for trying to rob another man at knife-point.
This happened just after 1:30 Tuesday morning at 9th and Broadway in downtown Columbia.
The victim said Jason White pulled out a knife and demanded money while threatening to stab him.
White then chased the victim when he took off running toward the Columbia Police Department.
Officers caught up to White in a nearby alley and took him into custody.
White faces multiple charges.
