The holiday weekend looks nice, starting with mostly sunny skies Saturday and below average temperatures for July. High temperatures will reach the lower 80s Saturday with a few cumulus clouds drifting by in the afternoon and a southeasterly breeze under 10 mph.
The weather for evening fireworks displays will be pleasant with mostly clear skies, light winds and temperatures in the mid 70s by 9 p.m.
Sunday will be warmer with high temperatures near normal for early July, reaching the upper 80s. Winds will be light under 10 mph from the south Sunday with a spot storm possible late in the day. No severe storms are expected.
