Broadcast Engineer-PT

Job Description:

The successful candidate’s duties will include maintaining technical compliance with FCC rules and regulations. Diagnose and repair broadcast equipment in a television station operation. Manage information technology networks in the station. Once, trained, candidate will work an alternating On-Call schedule with the Chief and other engineers. Initial training for this shift is negotiable, but planned to be Monday-Friday 1pm – 5pm. The permanent shift will be late afternoon/evening, likely Monday-Friday 3pm – 7pm.

Qualifications:

Applicants preferred to have a college degree or a certificate in electronics or information technology from a college or technical school; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Candidate must have a valid Missouri driver’s license. Candidate must also pass a drug test and background check prior to employment.
