Storms bring flooding to mid-Missouri

Thursday night storms brought a large amount of rain to mid-Missouri.

Flash flood warnings remain for Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Montgomery and Saline Counties through Friday.

Flash flood watches are in effect through Friday for Chariton, Cooper, Gasconade, Howard, Johnson, Macon, Monroe, Montgomery, Osage, Pettis, Randolph, and Saline.

A flood warning remains for the following rivers:

-Blackwater River in Saline County.

-Chariton River in Chariton and Macon Counties.

-Grand River in Carroll and Chariton Counties.

-Missouri River in Gasconade and Osage Counties.

-Petite Saline Creek in Cooper County.

The ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Team predicts mid-Missouri could see more rain overnight into Friday morning.
