Three injured in Jefferson City head-on crash

Three people were injured following a head-on crash in Jefferson City Wednesday afternoon.

Crews responded to the scene at Ellis Blvd. and California Street just before 2:30 p.m.

25-year-old Lindsey Gilpin was driving east on Ellis when 52-year-old Randall Sharp, who was driving west, crossed the center line and collided head-on with Gilpin.

Gilpin’s car was pushed into the westbound lane due to the force of the crash.

Gilpin and her passenger as well as Sharp were taken to a local hospital for further evaluation for minor to moderate injuries.
