Police investigating convenience store shooting
The Columbia Police Department is investigating a shooting at the UltraMart Convenience and Liquor Store at 2102 Paris Rd., in Columbia.
Authorities say a fight broke out between three men just after 8 p.m., Thursday night in the parking lot of the store. During the fight, one of the men drew a gun and fired several shots.
Officers were forced to block off the intersections of Paris Road and Whitegate Drive during their investigation.
Police found several casings at the scene. Two bullets holes were found at the store.
No injuries were reported.
