Woman sentenced to 10 years in deadly home invasion

A Macon woman was sentenced Monday to 10 years in prison for her role in a deadly 2014 home invasion in Columbia.

24-year-old Deshai Richardson was originally charged with second degree murder, but that charge was dropped.

Richardson pleaded guilty to 1st degree burglary in a home invasion that left one suspect dead in April 2014 on West Texas Avenue.

Darris Edwards, another suspect in the home invasion was sentenced to 15 years in prison Monday.
