Three arrested for heroin following search warrants in Hermann

Three people were arrested Thursday in Gasconade County after Hermann Police, Gasconade Co. deputies, and members of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group served two search warrants.

The first warrant was served in the 200 block of W. 5th St. in Hermann just after 1:00 a.m. Thursday.

Authorities found about 57 capsules containing heroin, as well as drug paraphernalia in the home.

21-year-old Elizabeth Jacoby was arrested for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, maintaining a public nuisance, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Her bond was set at $75,000 and she’s being held in the Crawford Co. Jail.

The second search warrant was served at 1:09 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of West 6th St. in Hermann.

Investigators found drug paraphernalia, syringes, and capsules that tested positive for heroin.

27-year-old Jessica Hammock and 28-year-old Andrew Teel were arrested for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, maintaining a public nuisance, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Both were also charged with endangering the welfare of a child after a 5-year-old girl was discovered in the home.

The girl was turned over to someone not involved in the investigation.

Bond was set at $50,000 for Hammock and $75,000 for Teel.
