Show Me State Games kick off in Columbia this weekend

More people are expected to arrive to Columbia for the Show Me State Games starting Friday.

The games kick off Friday, and officials said close to 6,000 athletes will be here for the games, along with several thousand spectators.

This weekend’s events include high school basketball and youth tackle football.

The senior games are also underway.
