Columbia REDI board discusses improvement projects

ABC 17 News is learning about some Mid-Missouri improvement projects in the works.

The Columbia REDI board of directos met to talk about improvement proposals.

ABC 17 News sat in on the meeting and learned Centralia is pushing to bring a hotel to the city.

It said it needs more lodging for a basketball tournament it hosts and said it would attract business.

Board members also discussed the University of Missouri’s plans to add pavement around the historic columns on campus.
