Man sentenced to 8 years in deadly Columbia burglary

A man convicted in a deadly Columbia burglary was sentenced to eight years in prison Monday.

She’aun Prince pleaded guilty to first degree burglary in April.

Prosecutors dropped the murder charge against him.

Prince is one of three men charged in a home invasion that left one person dead. The burglary happened last year off West Texas Avenue in Columbia.
