Storms likely Friday, decrease Saturday
The active weather pattern continues and more storms are expected Friday. The chance of t-storms increases in the afternoon with periods of storms through Saturday morning.
A few t-storms will start to develop as early as mid-morning Friday west of HWY 63 and increase in coverage through the afternoon. These will be ongoing into the evening with the potential of strong or severe storms. We have a marginal severe risk through Friday night for the possibility of isolated severe storms with damaging wind and large hail. Some of the storms will also contain heavy rain.
As a cold front moves south early Saturday, storms will gradually shift to the south through the day and end. Saturday will be cooler with high temperatures only in the lower 70s. No severe weather is expected Saturday.
