Columbia Wal-Mart open again after bomb threat

The Wal-Mart on West Broadway in Columbia was re-opened Wednesday night after being evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Customers and employees were told to exit the store and leave the parking lot.

Police tell us they found no evidence of a bomb inside the store.

Wal-Mart tells us the threat initially came over the walkie-talkie system. They determined someone hacked into the frequency.

The store was shut down for nearly two hours and re-opened around 10 p.m.

Police gave no details of any potential suspects.
