Hazardous waste collection in Columbia Saturday
A hazardous waste collection event is scheduled for this Saturday in Columbia.
The University of Missouri, Boone County, City of Columbia, Midwest Recycling, ABC Tire, and Clean Harbors is hosting a tire, electronic, and household hazardous waste recycling event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hearnes Center parking lot.
That lot is just south of the MU football stadium.
The event is open to residents of Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau, and Osage counties only.
No commercial tire or household hazardous waste will be accepted.
Car tires will be accepted for $1 for 16″ or smaller tires, or $2 if the tire is on the rim.
