Pools opening for regular season on Thursday after Memorial Day
Pools opened just for Memorial Day weekend in Columbia, before the regular season starts on Thursday. This year’s date was moved up because the last of school in Columbia is this Wednesday.
The Albert-Oakland pool, Lake of the Woods, Douglass and the Little Mates Cove pool at Twin Lakes will stay open from 12 to 5 p.m. on Monday. Normal summer hours take effect Thursday.
Those are: Albert-Oakland – 12 to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 12 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Lake of the Woods – 1-7 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 12 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Douglass pool – 1-7 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 12 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Little Mates Cove at Twin Lakes – 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 12 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Lake of the Woods Pool and Little Mates Cove, cost $1.50 for anyone between the ages of 2 and 15, plus $2.75 for adults 16 and older. Douglass has $1 admission, and Albert-Oakland is $2.50 for anyone between the ages of 2 and 15, plus $3.75 for adults 16 and older.
