Parking changes for Salute to Veterans airshow

Those who plan to go to the Salute to Veterans airshow in Boone County this Memorial Day weekend may run into some parking issues.

Columbia Public Works said there will be no airshow parking on the grassy areas along Airport Drive due to standing water in the area.

Shuttles will run Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. until the end of the airshow.

The shuttles will go from the 5th and Walnut Street parking garage in downtown Columbia or from the Jefferson City Memorial Airport.
