Railroad work will close road in Cooper Co.

Drivers in Cooper County will need to be aware of a railroad crossing closure Wednesday afternoon.

Union Pacific Railroad will close Route K at the Blackwater railroad crossing in Cooper Co, from 6 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday to reconstruct pavement approaches.

Traffic will be detoured around the area by using I-70 to Route 41 back to Route K.
