Columbia man arrested for drunk driving

A Columbia man arrested for drunk driving is back on the streets Wednesday.

Police said they saw a car driving westbound in the eastbound lanes on Walnut near Providence just before 1:00 a.m. Wednesday.

The driver did not pull over until entering a driveway on east Ash Street.

The driver, Joseph Stuckenschneider, ran off on foot.

A short time later, he turned himself in.

Officers said he had a blood alcohol level of 0.183.

He has since bonded out of the Boone County Jail.
