3 injured in Jefferson City car crash

Jefferson City police say three people were injured in a two car crash.

The accident happened Tuesday, at Dunklin and Jefferson at about nine o’clock.

Investigators say Pamela Ussery, 65, ran a red light. Another vehicle driven by Jasmine Young, 20, crashed into Ussery.

The passenger in Young’s car sustained a head injury after being thrown into the windshield and was laying on the ground outside the passenger car door when police arrived.

All those involved suffered minor injuries. Police say both Young and her passenger were taken to the hospital.
