Sam’s Club to open July 23 in Jefferson City

Sam’s Club confirmed Tuesday that its Jefferson City store on Stoneridge Boulevard is scheduled to open on July 23.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in April.

Sam’s Club announced in April that it plans to hire about 170 new associates to staff the store, which is located at 849 Stoneridge Blvd.

Sam’s Club has established a hiring center at 1406 Missouri Blvd. Applicants can go to the hiring center from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. They can apply from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays, and online as well. Sam’s Club is taking applications for full-time and part-time positions.

Currently, the closest Sam’s Club to the capital city is in Columbia.
