Woman charged with killing father and his girlfriend appears in court
A woman charged with a Mid-Missouri murder appeared in LaClede County court for a pre-trial hearing Monday afternoon.
Susan Van Note is charged with two counts of first degree murder for the 2010 killing of her father and his girlfriend at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Her next pre-trial hearing is set for June 8, and jury selection in her trial starts the next day.
Prosecutors said she forged a power of health care document, pulling her father off life support following the shooting.
