Jefferson City Council to vote on bullet proof vests

The Jefferson City Council Monday night is set to vote on multiple resolutions, including one for an application for new bullet proof vests.

JCPD is applying for a grant that would aid it in buying new bullet resistant vests for the department, worth $11,475.

The city would use the funds for 50% reimbursement for vests purchased.
