Bridges in Boone Co. reopen ahead of schedule

Two bridges in Boone County have reopened a month ahead of schedule.

MoDOT crews shut down the bridges that carry Route E over Rocky Fork and Perche creeks for rehabilitation work in early March.

The bridges were not supposed to reopen to drivers until June 5.

Both bridges now have new decks.
