Hallsville man arrested for child molestation

A Hallsville man was arrested Thursday in Columbia for child molestation and statutory sodomy.

The incident happened on Phyllis Avenue in December.

Investigators said the victim was 9 years old.

Court documents said the victim and suspect knew each other.

Spano is currently in the Boone County Jail on $100,000 bond.
