Man wanted for child sex abuse hiding from sheriff’s office

A man in eastern Missouri remains on the loose, after investigators claim he sexually abused a 6 year-old girl.

Officials say Eugene, or Neil, Haggard, 54, is currently wanted for first-degree sodomy. They believe he is actively hiding from authorities.

The victim’s mother first reported the abuse a week ago, on April 20. But the Warren County Sheriff, Kevin Harrison, believes there could be more victims. He also thinks Haggard could act again.

Haggard drives a grey, full-size Ford van with lower camouflage trim. Its license plate number is 0FK-664. Haggard is described as 5’7″, about 140 lbs, with grey hair and hazel eyes.

He lives in the 12000 block of Mistic Drive in Wright City near St. Louis, about an hour east of Columbia. He has a $100,000 cash-only bond.
