Mild, unsettled Saturday, cool Sunday
A surface low pressure area and trailing cold front will move southeast through Mid-Missouri Saturday morning through afternoon, giving us a chance of showers & t-storms through the afternoon. The farther west you live the earlier the rain chances end as the storm system pushes southeast.
There is a slight severe threat from noon to 4 PM in areas near and south of HWY 54. Damaging winds, large hail and an isolated tornado are possible.
High temperatures will reach the 60s to lower 70s Saturday. Cooler drier air moves in Saturday night, leaving us with a partly cloudy, breezy and cool day Sunday with high temperatures only reaching the lower 60s for a brief time.
