Jefferson City school board candidates debate issues

Tuesday night, Jefferson City school board candidates faced off in a forum at Lincoln University.

The town hall-style meeting gave the candidates a chance to speak directly to public.

Many questions were directed toward East Elementary and the overcrowding issues the school is facing.

The issue of adding another high school was also a major topic of discussion.

Audience members told ABC 17 News, distrust for the current board and administration will be on the minds of many as they go to the polls April 7th.
