Supreme Court to hear Cole Co. DWI case

The Missouri Supreme Court is taking on a deadly DWI case that happened near Russellville.

The Supreme Court said they’ll hear oral arguments in Larry Welch’s case on April 22.

The Supreme Court stepped in to issue a 30 day stay last month when Welch’s 20 year sentence was reduced, allowing him to be released.

Welch is convicted of killing Jean and Toby Olsen while driving drunk on Route C in 2007.
