Man accused of attacking good Samaritan appears in court
A man accused of attacking a good samaritan near Boonville appeared in court Tuesday.
44-year-old Joey Allen had a preliminary hearing for the attack that happened on Christmas Eve.
Allen allegedly asked someone for a ride to get gas, then attacked the victim and left him on the side of the road.
Allen is charged with 1st degree assault, 1st degree robbery, and stealing.
