Two arrested for stealing scrap metal in Fulton

Two people were arrested Friday for stealing from the Fulton Water Department in January.

The Water Department reported a large amount of scrap metal taken on several occasions over a period of time.

Fulton Police arrested 24-year-old Kenneth Allen and 34-year-old Morgan Patton after they admitted to stealing the metal.

Allen was charged with felony stealing, misdemeanor stealing, multiple counts of trespassing, felony property damage, and possession of burglary tools.

His bond was set at $16,000.

Charges are pending for Patton.
