Jefferson City High School hires new principal

Jefferson City Public Schools has named a new principal for the high school, who will replace Jeff Dodson.

He resigned back in September, saying he had become a lightning rod for unrest.

The district superintendent also announced he’s leaving less than a month later.

The district has named Robert James as the new principal of Jefferson City High School, who was previously a principal in Texas.

James was born in Hermann and went to school in Linn.
