Mid-Missouri man accused of molesting 6 yr-old girl

A 36-year-old Boone County man is in jail on suspicion of child molestation Wednesday.

Timothy McWilliams of 5401 Bonne Femme Church Road was taken into custody Wednesday morning when detectives searched his home and allegedly found evidence relating to the incident.

The 6-year-old victim apparently told her mother it happened on December 22.

The victim and the suspect know each other, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.
