Columbia police respond to armed robbery

Columbia Police responded to an armed robbery at We B Smokin’ Monday night just before 8:00.

ABC 17 confirmed a K-9 unit was on the scene looking for two suspects in a wooded area just west of the business on Bernadette Drive.

Dispatchers said two suspects were wearing ski masks. One was said to be wearing camouflage pants, and the other carrying a silver and black backpack.

Both were described as 5’6″ to 5’7″, 130 pounds, according to emergency scanner traffic.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

Police are still investigating three separate robberies that happened over the weekend, where suspect(s) were all wearing masks. An officer on the scene told ABC 17 they believe this robbery is connected to the past three.
