Pettis Co. man pleads guilty to murder in January stabbing death
A Pettis County man who told authorities he stabbed a woman in January before later dismembering her pleaded guilty to first degree murder Friday.
Joseph Arbeiter also pleaded guilty to armed criminal action in the death of 35-year-old Mandy Black.
Black’s remains were found in a trailer Arbeiter previously lived in back in April.
Arbeiter has a lengthy criminal history that ABC 17 dug into following the charges.

Arbeiter was sentenced to life in prison, and the death penalty was waived.
